Descriptions
Object Description
Twined cylindrical lidded basket of spruce root with "false embroidery" decorations. Natural brown background with ALASKA written in darker brown. Two geometric designs at back also in darker brown. Yellow line encircles basket above and below letters. Matching lid has lip which fits over edges of basket and a small braided handle in the center. "False embroidery" concentric designs on lid in yellow and dark brown.
