Object Description Hayah'wuuti Katsina (ancient woman, mother of the gods). Carved from cottonwood root, painted black red, white, and blue. Wearing a traditional black manta with red and blue striped manta (?) as a cape. Face is painted with red stripes, turkey feathers on her head, yarn ringlets as hair.
