Object Description
Pawtiwa Katsina carved from cottonwood root decorated with feathers and paint in green, orange, white, black, blue. The face is painted turquiose blue with a black and white oval shape around the eyes, with two big ears. The body is painted orange. Hootsani is wearing a traditional white kilt with blue, green, and black designs, and a sash with red, black, green and blue designs Hootsani is also wearing a woman's Manta which is decorated with black and green bands of color, yellow and red diamonds, and three pair of "clouds" (tri-angles)
