Object Description
Zuni pendant from 1970s-1980s. Mosaic inlaid pendant on silver link chain. Pendant is double sided, base is tortoise shell set in an ornate silver bezel. One side is a raised mosaic inlay Mudhead inlay in coral, mother-of-pearl, turquoise, and jet. The other side is a raised mosaic inlay of Koshare in jet, mother-of-pearl, coral turquoise, coral, and a honey colored stone (citrine?). Engraved along bezel "Beverly E. Zuni NM"; probably Beverly Etsate, as the handwriting and craftsmanship matche our other example of her work.
4.2 cm high, 2.7 cm wide, 1 cm deep; chain 61 cm long.
