Object Description
Zuni oval tortoise shell bolo slider from 1940s-1960s, with mosaic inlaid Mudhead of mother-of-pearl, coral, jet, and turquoise. Mudhead wearing black loin cloth, red coral moccasins, and holding turquoise rattle in left hand. Silver work of scrolls and feathers around edge of slider. Braided leather cord with silver end-pieces.
Bolo is 6.6 x 5 x 1.5 cm (H x W x D); cord approx 103 cm long.
