Object Description
Bolo tie from 1950s-1970s. Slider is a concha, a scalloped-edge oval with stylized birds with outspread wings appliqued on at each end, with turquoise and coral chip inlay wings and feet. Chip inlay region is slightly raised to base and very center is slightly indented against two raised areas of scalloped stamped material. Concha has oval turquoise set in a silver bezel with silver rope trim. Loops attaching concha to the cord appear to be brass. Plaited black leather cord has simple tips ending in disks.
8.3 cm high, 6.5 cm wide, 2.6 cm deep; cord 98 cm total length
