Display Title Bolo tie of Sunface figure set with coral and turquoise

Object Description Navajo bolo tie from 1980s. Well done silver slider of a full figured Sunface with a stamped-patterned feather headdress and stamp detail on shirt, kilt, and ceremonial sash, all in silver. Tear-drop shaped piece of turquoise set in fine bezel in center of kilt with two oval corals set in fine silver bezel on the right side. Feet protrude foreward. Head is shadow-boxed, with cut-outs for eyes and mouth. Hallmark on reverse of a circle with a branch off the top, says inside "HYSON CRAIG IHMSS" around the perimeter with a stylized "HC" in the center. Plaited black leather cord ends in nice stamped balls. which end in three-petalled squash blossoms. 14.1 cm high, 8.2 cm wide, 2.2 cm deep; cord is 119 cm total length.
