Descriptions
Object Description Santo Domingan bolo tie from 1970s. Bolo slider is heavy rectangular cast silver. Top of slider has a checkerboard design of turquoise rectangles set in silver channelwork. The bottom has a recessed base in a mottled black/brown, with a raised hooked fret design. Tips of cord have small stylized stamped drums ending in three petalled squash blossoms. Part of a set, with 995-29-10/73141, which is cast with the hallmark of Sedalio Lovato 7.4 cm high, 3.2 cm wide, 1.2 cm deep; cord total length is 92 cm.
