Object Description
Santo Domingan belt from 1970s. Cheap commercially made base belt. Buckle is heavy narrow rectangular cast silver. Right side of buckle has a checkerboard design of turquoise rectangles set in silver channel work. The left side has a recessed base in a mottled black/brown, with a raised hooked fret design. Reverse has "S.FL." cast into it, hallmark of Sedalio Lovato. Composes a set with 995-29-10/73142. Buckle is 2.5 cm high, 7.6 cm wide, 1.5 cm deep; total belt length is 113 cm.
