Object Description
Buckle from 1980s. Very contemporary matte belt buckle of heavy cast silver. The rectangular shape has a pictoral design of Monument Valley with clouds in the background, and a stylized ceremonial Navajo head in the top foreground with inlaid turquoise eyes and coral mouth. From the center radiates lines from a small dot, perhaps the sun. Reverse is cast with an "R" encircled by a line from its tail, hallmark of Ric Charley. Makes set with 995-29-10/73146. 4.8 cm high, 7.3 cm wide, 1.4 cm deep.
