Object Description Navajo bolo tie from 1970s. Egg-shaped silver slider base is set with two polished pieces of turquoise, one also ovoid, the other a rounded square, set in fluted bezels rimmed with ropework. On either side are two bear claws, and rows of silver balls. The drops on the ends of the black braided leather cord are dangling elements, each containing a bear claw crooked around a turquoise cabuchon with silver work to match the slider. Reverse is stamped "CJR". 6.8 cm high, 5.5 cm wide, 2 cm deep; cord is 110 cm total length, including the tips, each measuring 4 cm high, 2.1 cm wide, .9 cm deep.
