Object Description
Knife-wing cast bolo slider from 1920s. Cast silver frame-like border with knife-wing figure in cut-out pattern connected to the rectangular outer frame by its wings and feet. Silver border and figure are embellished with cold chisel work. Knifewing's body is inlaid with turquoise rectangles and triangles in the body and head. There is a leather backing, which is visible in the open areas of the design. Braided leather cord with silver end-pieces. Appears to be old kehoh, re-styled into slider.
Slider is 9.5 x 8 x 2 cm rectangle (height x width x depth). Cord is approx. 106 cm long, including end-pieces.
