Descriptions
Object Description Coiled and fully imbricated rectangular basket of cedar root, straw, and fern stem with leather handles on short ends. Natural brown background with design consisting of black or reddish-brown tictac (#) signs alternating with vertical rows of black swastikas. (See Notes/Histories- Attribution) Dimensions: length=64.8 cm, width=31.8 cm, height=23 cm Accompanied by prize ribbon for "Special Award," American Indian and Relic Show, Los Angeles, February 1971. Also had hang tag: "333 DB-6" and sticker on bottom: "36."
