Object Description
Hopi painted gourd rattle. Wood handle w/ remains of red pigment. Handle placed through center of gourd and pegged. Gourd painted in stripes of red, blue, white and light blue. Filled w/ quartz pebbles for rattles. Hole bored through handle and loop of patterned cloth is tied through it.
