Object Description
Sioux eagle bone sun dance whistle. Bottom is wrapped w/ beadwork. Above beads are feathers wrapped w/ sinew. 2 leather thongs wrapped w/ quills hang down at bottom of which are feathers. Placed underneath beads are feathers which hang down well below whistle. Bone has traces of red. 32.0x2.0 cm.
