Object Description
Ghost Dance shirt from the Battle of Wounded Knee. Made from cotton cloth with fringe along seams as if it were hide. Painted design in red and blue. V-design at bodice with star on either side. Bands of color around bottom. Majority of shirt left undecorated. 138.2x146.0 cm.
