Object Description Woman's dress in two pieces. Weft faced tapestry weave in red, indigo and black z-spun single-ply wool weft with white z-spun single-ply warp. Center horizontal panel in black. On each edge of center band are two red bands with narrow indigo horizontal stripe down center. On either end are borders of red and indigo in the following pattern: Band of blue stepped triangles; red band; narrow blue band; wide red band with five blue crosses with red centers arranged horizontally; narrow blue band; red band; indigo band with inverted stepped triangles. Sides of borders are also indigo with small indigo 'teeth' projecting into red bands. Two peices are stitched together with indigo yarn. Top and bottom selvages are wrapped with indigo yarn.
