Object Description One panel of a weft-faced tapestry weave dress in black, indigo, red and green z-spun single wool (weft) and brown z-spun single-ply wool (warp). Center black panel bordered on each side with panels in the following pattern. Indigo band with stepped triangles; red band; narrow green band; wide red band with five indigo stepped diamonds with two narrow horizontal green lines in red centers and a half-diamond on the same pattern at each edge; narrow green band; red band; indigo band with inverted stepped triangles; two red bands with narrow green horizontal stripe down center sepatrated by a narrow indigo band. All selvages are wrapped in indigo wool. Length: 116.5 cm; Width: 82,2 cm; Depth: .2 cm. Thread count: Warp -- 6 ends/cm; Weft -- 28 ends/cm. Fair condition.
