Object Description Dictated to Dan Jones by Bill Holm: Skidgate, Queen Charlotte's Island...Both these poles are described in John R. Swanton's "Contributions to the Ethnology of the Haida" (Am Mus of Nat Hist) Both were collected by Newcomb, and both are not in good condition, in the British Columbia Provincial Museum, Victoria.
