Object Description
Leather collar with elk teeth. The necklace appears to consist of tightly twisted cloth stitched into a rope and covered with leather stitched along the seam. The outer strand measures 93 cm. in length, inside of which a shorter strand (50 cm. in length) is attached. Thirteen elk teeth are sewn onto this inner strand (nine teeth remain attached to the outer), but at least six other teeth appear to have originally been attached here. One tooth unattached.
