Object Description
Band; bird head repeated with different orientations: gold, blue, green, dark brown, white, on red ground. Single interlocked tapestry with camelid wefts (z-2s, 35 epcm.), cotton warp (z-2s, 7 epcm.). Backed with heavy white cotton band; warp-faced 1-1 plainweave (warp: (z-2s), 12 epcm.; weft: (z-2s), 2 epcm.). The two bands stitched together along sides with buttonhole stitch of red camelid. Two weft selvages.
