Object Description
Textile; slit tapestry with stepped diamonds enclosing standing figures in headdress and collar, holding plant(?) in one hand. Across top, bottom, border, red-pink and pink weft-faced bands flanking band with birds in yellow and brown. Ground primarily pink-red, diamonds pink, figures primarily yellow, gold, brown. Four selvages. Warp: brown cotton, (2s-plied). Weft: camelid, (2s-plied).
