Object Description
Child's tunic composed of two complete webs seamed together along one weft selvage leaving an opening for head, then folded in half and stitched up sides leaving arm holes. Plainweave tan cotton (2s-plied) on one side, dark brown on other. Each half has four stripes of indigo-dyed warp (2s-plied) with simple warp float pattern in white cotton (2s-plied). At lower edge the uncut warp ends are twisted into short fringe.
