Object Description
Horn spoon; made from horn of Texas steer: Translucent; Tan in color; Scoop is oval with a point near scoop lip. Edges are smooth and shaped and curve slightly inward. Inside scoop is silver-metallic like stain with signs of usage. Scratches and cuts are apparent. Handle is thin with end forming a circle. A drilled hole is also in center of handle. End of handle has a slight curve inward. No elaborate details or decorations. "K-61", is written in black ink underneath base of handle. Stable. Made by a Sioux Indian named "Holy Ghost."
