Display Title Spoon from buffalo horn with leather decoration on handle.
Descriptions
Object Description Horn spoon: Translucent; Color-Tan to Dark brown; Inside of scoop shows signs of crackling and deteriorization; Underneath scoop shows signs of scratches with a slight crack near "376" written in pencil; Handle forms out of scoop with small knob at end. Acc. # and Cat. # are written in black ink underneath near scoop edge. Edges are shaped and smooth. Attached is a tag with "366/2" and "376" written on it. Handle is decorated with red quills with (1) green quill. Green quills form loop; (2) strands of leather are wrapped with red and yellow quills with metal tinklers at each end; protruding is rest of leather thong. Attached is also a piece of twine. Fairly stable.
