Descriptions
Object Description Horn spoon, bird's head: Translucent. Condition: Good. Scoop is large and shell shaped with partially chipped edges. Edges are shaped and smooth. Underneath scoop shows signs of deteriorization. Handle is tan to dark brown with niche at base; end of handle is carved a bird's head with inlaid turquoise blue beads. Beak is carved thoroughly through with partial end intact; head is also shaped and carved facing scoop. Yellow tag is attached with Acc. # and Cat. #. "27530" is written in black inside scoop, center.
