Object Description
Two widths (67 cm., each) white cotton plainweave; across cloth are two rows of diamonds enclosing birds. Rectangles have complementary weft floats of red and gold camelid (2s-plied) alternating with ground wefts. Warp headings have three heavy replied yarns. Was apparently used as a mummy wrapping--stitches, sewing yarn. Four selvages. Warp: white cotton, (2s-plied), 16 epcm. Weft: white cotton, (z-2s), 10 epcm.
