Descriptions
Object Description Shroud; cotton warp-faced weave with stripes of brown, blue, tan (all 2s-plied) 1-1 plainweave. Along each side is a border with stripes of plainweave plus four narrow stripes of simple complementary warp floatweave in dark blue, blue, brown, tan, white (all 2s-plied). Wad of cotton balls tucked into the cloth. Four selvages. Weft: white cotton, (2sd-plied).
