Object Description
Band; row of stepped diamonds with hooks extending at the sides and a cross-like motif in center (marine motif?). Diamonds are yellow on magenta and lavender ground. Along each side is stitched the remains of a white cotton plainweave cloth. Band was probably a border. Two weft selvages. Warp: brown cotton, (2s-plied), 9 epcm. Weft: camelid, (2s-plied), 26 epcm.
