Object Description
Pair of "shin guards", rigid warp construction: rectangular mats of wooden slats wrapped with dark brown and tan camelid yarns (s-2z) in concentric diamond design. Upper and lower edges have cotton plainweave folded over edge and stitched. Along side edges three spaced ties of braided camelid cords. Most complete examples in collection.
