Object Description
Bronze crossbow fibula of Middle La Tene character. Wire foot bends back and ends in elaborate junction ornament that is riveted to the flattened bow. The ornament is a container shaped like an arrow pointing from the spring and ending in a knob. At the base of the arrow is a crosspiece that rests on the spring. The entire container was apparently filled with enamel. 5.7 x 6.7 x 2 cm.
