Object Description
Bronze crossbow fibula of Middle La Tene character. The wire foot bends back to grasp the wire bow, and is set with a large openwork shield-shaped disk filled with filigree spirals, each with a central boss. A large boss sits in the middle of the whole shield. The catchplate is decorated with incised lines. 11 x 4.8 x 3.5 cm.
