Object Description
One woven narrow belt with brown and tan geometric designs: Band; along band are complex figures with crested headdresses and feline/or 8-pointed star with mouth and 4 eyes; woven in red camelid-white cotton complementary warp weave; colors alternate faces. At each end, (5-6 cm.) terminal weaving turned under, sloppily overcast, then finished with buttonhole stitch. Rows of large stitches along ends, across width secure folded portion. Weft: paired white cotton, (2z-2s), 6 ppcm. Four selvages.
