Descriptions
Object Description Loincloth of 1-1 plainweave fine brown cotton; top decorated with cross-knit looping. Along each side, band of stepped triangles and frets in brown, yellow, black camelid (2z-2s).; faces surrounded by looped fringe of yellow camelid. In center, spaced stripes of cross-knit looping, barred brown-red, yellow. Separately woven band of 1-1 plainweave white cotton doubled over, stitched along top, extending at sides as ties (1 m., length). Very unusual patterning technique.
