Descriptions
Object Description Double weave band with three repeats of standing figure with split headdress ending in animal heads and one repeat of two double-headed serpents. Between repeats are sections of small squares arranged in twill pattern. Warp-faced with two sets of warp, one brown, one white cotton (2s-plied) and one weft, white cotton (2s-plied), which moves in spiral. Figures: white on brown, then brown on white (reversed on back face). One warp, two weft selvages.
