Object Description
Instrument made of sticks attached to a frame. OR Miniature cradleboard? 33 x 18 x 3 cm. Rectangular construction of 2 horizontal layers of thin canes laid side by side and lashed simultaneously to both sides of a structure of 3 thick vertical wooden sticks. Small pebbles inside rattle. Miniature cradleboard made from cane and wood, with stones inside to create a rattle effect. Cradleboard consisting of double layer of canes (0.5 cm. diameter) lashed together with several rows of twining along two sides. Every fourth cane on top layer projects (2 cm.) along both ends. Twined step design occurs on all four corners. Three canes sandwiched between cane layers, run longitudinally (of which two project beyond end). Large split canes finish each end.
