Object Description
Painted grave marker; rectangular tablet of canes laid side by side. A 4 selvage cotton cloth of 1-1 plainweave is folded over the canes and lashed together on the back. Front is painted with a standing figure surrounded by wave bands. Red-orange and blue-gray pigments. Warp: cotton, (z), 8 epcm. Weft: cotton, (s), 4 epcm.
