Object Description
Grave marker of 1-2 plainweave white cotton. In center a painted diamond shaped "frame" enclosing a standing figure (frontal) surrounded by geometric shapes (squares or circles with dots and appendages). Frame has triangle shapes with dot in center and long "curl" from apex of triangle. Red cinnabar and a blue-gray pigment used. Four selvages. Warp: cotton, (z), 10 epcm. Weft: (s), 7 ppcm.
