Conical fiber hat with brim

Object Description
Conical hat of twined plant fiber (grass, leaf fiber?) leather trimmed at the brim, on the body, and at the top. Three buttons attached at the side of the hat, and the larger knob at the peak, are covered with reptile (snake?) skin. A tanned leather strap with decorative fringe and plaited plant fiber at the bottom, is attached to the interior of the hat, held with braided leather buttons on the exterior.
