Object Description Potsherd. The object is a greyish brown black ceramic rim sherd from a vessel. It is hand built with a fine clay with many inclusions. A scallop-like design decorate the rim; vertical striations are visible on the exterior surface of the fragment. Identifying numbers: A Peabody Museum in white has been applied to the interior surface of the sherd.
