S."; bottom: "Invincible in War, Triumphant in Peace". One edge is frayed. On a cardboard roll with #14997. Stamp on roll: "U. S. CONSULATE/SEP 5 1898/CANTON CHINA". <transliteration> (Chinese name). 38 cm. (?) x 37.3 cm. (?).
