Object Description
Pipe bag. "Tobacco Pouch. Carried by the Sioux Chief "Sitting Bull' on September 5th, 1883 when at Bismarck, Dakota, at the reception given to the Villard excursionists and the ceremony of laying the Corner Stone of the Capital of Dakota, and at which time members of the Villard and Rufus Hatch excursion parties offered him ten dollars for this pouch but he then declined parting with it."
