Object Description Five place card holders, possibly silver, for the Legation in Beijing, 1904. Two in shape of "HSI" ("happiness"), one of "LU" ("prosperity"), "PING-AN" ("peace"), and "SHOU" ("longevity"). All are incised with floral decoration. On back, incised is English meaning. Average: 5.5 cm. (?) x 6.5 cm. (?).
