Object Description
War club. Black stone head, bipointed, heavily pitted, grooved for leather binding. Large gouged out area is result of flake driven off by percussion. Recent repair work seen in leather at haft; cord at base of shaft may also be new; tassle of blond horse hair attached. Wood shaft covered with buffalo hide.
