Object Description
Globular coiled sea grass basket with cone-shaped lid topped by knob-shaped handle. Sides of natural-colored basket and top of lid decorated with red, mauve, and pale green seal gut strips laced through coiling elements, and with coiling elements of blue, red, and brown. Design motifs are stepped diamonds of several sizes formed from squares of color; all contain smaller diamond-shaped motifs. Four encircle lid, and four large separated by four vertically-joined pairs encircle basket. Bundle construction.
Dimensions: height with lid = 32.5 cm, height to rim = 22 cm, max. diameter = 27 cm
