Descriptions
Object Description
Globular basket with domed lid, in 1/1 interlaced structure. Natural-colored warp elements and rim reinforcement elements on both basket and lid, all probably white oak. Weft elements of honeysuckle form bands of natural tan or brown alternating with orange or (on bottom) with tan. Lid has alternating brown and orange or tan elements. Rim reinforcements (2) attached by coiling. Brown dye from walnut. Dimensions: height including lid = 10.4 cm, height to rim = 9 cm, diameter = 7.3 cm at rim, max. diameter = 10.7 cm.
