Written on board: "Vessel from a burial in the county road adjoining Black Oak cemetery (modern). Modified interlocking scroll consisting of three incised lines to each arm of scroll. The shape of this bottle is somewhat unusual. Height 4 1/2", diameter (mouth) 1 3/4". / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropogy, University of Texas."
