Object Description
Written on board: "Lamar County, Texas. 34-119. / T. M. Sanders farm. 1/2 mi. south of Red River on Bois d'Arc Creek, 1 mi. W. of Direct in N.W. corner of Lamar County. Made from the Columella of the conch shell. Its presence at the back of the skull in burial B-6 would indicate that it was a head ornament. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
