Object Description Written on board: "Morris County, Texas. 34-119. / Hooper Glover (Carr) farm, 4 mi. N.E. of Daingerfield. (Starrett Collection). / Bowl with quadrangleular rim with red slip and simple design carved through it. Note just below tip on the rim is a design showing striking modification of sun symbol with equal armed cross inside a circle. In this case only the vertical line of the cross is present. / Height 3 1/4", diameter (extreme) 5 1/2". / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Department of Anthropology, University of Texas."
