Bottle with neck broken, from Russell Bros. farm, 4 mi. S.W. of Cason, Titus County, Texas. / The design on this vessel is an excellent ilustration of the Caddo combination of circle and sun symbol. / There are three of the designs in the upper tier and three below alternating with the ones above. / Height 4 1/2"; diameter (extreme) 5 3/4" sun symbol common. / Gift of J. E. Pearce, Chairman of Anthropological Department, University of Texas."
